The Coast Community College District is hiring a Part-Time GED Preparation Faculty to assist students in language arts and mathematics through individualized or group instruction. Responsibilities include providing instruction, maintaining records, and applying inclusive teaching practices in diverse classroom environments.
This part-time position requires a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and sensitivity to varied student backgrounds. Applicants are encouraged to support the district's diversity goals. Regular attendance is essential and positions are filled contingent upon board approval.

Assist students in language arts and mathematics through individualized or group instruction. Focus on test‑taking strategies and fundamentals. Assignments may include a combination of day, evening, weekend, and/or off‑campus classes.
Employment is part‑time and temporary, contingent upon verification of employment history, background checks, eligibility to work in the United States, and approval by the CCCD Board of Trustees. Positions are filled on an as‑needed basis and may require instructors to live within commuting distance to Orange County.
