Job Description

The University of the Virgin Islands is seeking part-time faculty to teach online in the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Management Science, and Management Information Systems ( IST ).

Primary duty and responsibility is for teaching students in an online instructional setting;
functioning as the principal source of instruction and the faculty of record in the instructional setting for the online course offered for academic credit; being responsible for course planning and development; preparation and delivery of course content in accordance with student needs, including academic quality requirements; comprehensive assessment and grading in the assigned online course offered for academic credit; supervised by the Dean (or designee).

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree with at least 18 Credit Hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited University. Three years of higher education teaching preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD with two years of higher education teaching online preferred
