Job summary

Illuminus is seeking a Part-Time Facility Services Technician at The Marquardt, its senior living community in Watertown, WI. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance to keep buildings, equipment and furnishings safe and functional.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, life-safety testing, and on-call maintenance. A valid driver’s license and 2–3 years in a related field are preferred. Benefit details vary by status.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment while promoting the organization’s mission and values.
• Complete routine building maintenance including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, appliance, door, lock, ceiling, and furniture repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and systems using hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Prioritize and complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform routine testing and response for life safety systems, including fire detection and suppression.
• Respond to facility emergencies such as power outages, water events, gas leaks, elevator issues.
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal facility needs.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as assigned.
