Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year general work experience.
• Ability to express thoughts clearly in writing and speech.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and alertness to control and secure facility and residents.
• Prepare shift documentation, including shift reports and logs.
• Receive information from prior shift and relay instructions as needed.
• Relieve watch, log time and personnel, and perform routine counts.
• Conduct building patrols, checks, and safety inspections.
• supervise resident work details to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Document disciplinary actions per policy and log properly.
• Greet visitors and verify identity while remaining professional.
• Communicate with residents and staff to maintain a respectful environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and share observations to improve operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
