You will perform routine maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, handle inspections, maintain records, and support warehouse operations. This hands-on position requires physical activity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in building, facilities, construction or related maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and basic janitorial tasks.
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and general repairs within qualifications.
• Maintain doors, locks, lighting, shelving, fixtures, and other building components.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address issues.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Operations Lead regarding facility-related issues.
• Maintain maintenance supplies and coordinate replenishment with Procurement.
• Identify and report safety hazards and facility deficiencies.
• Coordinate with qualified contractors when work exceeds capabilities.
• Assist with contractor access, estimates, and completion of work.
• Report significant repairs and potential capital expenditures to the Department Director.
• Maintain basic maintenance and preventive-maintenance records.
• Document completed repairs and identify recurring maintenance issues.
