Job summary

Axess Family Services Inc. Maintenance Department is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to service our buildings and equipment in Ravenna, Ohio. The role includes routine and preventive maintenance, and may involve emergency responses 24/7.

You will work with the Property Management team to keep facilities in good condition. Qualifications include reading and writing simple notes, basic math, problem solving, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate information one-on-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders within a 7 business day period.
• Maintain records of scheduled maintenance and daily activity log.
• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building mechanical systems and replace filters.
• Complete checklists for equipment maintenance and document records.
• May install electrical wiring and related components and repair circuits.
