Job summary

CHC Addiction Services in Akron seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities and equipment in a safe and operational manner. This full-time role covers a broad range of tasks across building upkeep and repairs.

The position requires a High School Diploma and diversified maintenance experience, with duties including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, rehab work, and custodial tasks. A company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma and be experienced in diversified industrial, construction, or facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of building construction, electrical, heating, plumbing repair, drywall repair, tiling and floor repair and painting.
• Must be familiar with tools, equipment and practices ordinarily required for building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance and repair to CHC buildings and properties.
• Rehab apartments/bedrooms as needed.
• Provide light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry services.
• Perform minor tiling and floor repairs as needed.
• Repair drywall and paint as required.
• Move furniture as needed.
• Provide some custodian services.
• Snow removal as needed.
• Paid on-call rotation.
