Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of facility maintenance or closely related field.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas.
• Valid NC Driver’s License and/or CDL License.
• Certifications due within 30 days: CPR/AED and First Aid; plus YMCA trainings listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Provides facility maintenance to building and equipment.
• Ensures proper operation of all mechanical systems.
• Completes repair work and coordinates with contractors; may review bids.
• Oversees contractors and may review bids; recommends selection of contractors.
• Coordinates with fire, health, building departments for compliance with regulations.
• Advises management on maintenance issues and projects.
• Ensures vehicles and equipment are maintained per YMCA policies.
