Job summary

Sporting Kansas City is seeking a Part-time Facility Maintenance Associate to support upkeep, appearance, and functionality across our facilities. The role involves hands-on tasks such as painting, drywall repair, carpentry, minor plumbing, fixture replacement, and basic electrical work, with duties across offices, stadium spaces, and public areas.

Ideal candidates are dependable, resourceful, and able to handle diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Experience with OSHA, MSDS and EPA regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Complete routine facility maintenance and general repair projects across Sporting Kansas City properties.
• Respond to assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform painting, drywall patching, minor carpentry, furniture assembly, and fixture replacement.
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs, such as leaks and hardware replacement.
• Replace light bulbs and perform basic lighting/Electrical-related tasks.
• Maintain appearance of offices, common areas, stadium spaces, and facilities.
• Assist with facility improvements, room setups, and special projects.
• Inspect facilities and report safety concerns requiring higher expertise.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials.
• Keep work areas clean and clear after projects.
• Follow safety procedures and use tools properly.
• Coordinate with facility operations and outside vendors as needed.
