Job summary

The City of Mount Vernon is seeking a part-time on-call Facility Monitor to oversee rentals and events at city facilities. You will open facilities, monitor events, enforce rules, provide excellent customer service, and coordinate with park staff as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and First Aid/CPR certification within six months. Prior experience with the public is preferred, and sick leave is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate facility equipment and basic computers.

Responsibilities

• Open and ready facilities for events; conduct walk-throughs with renters.
• Enforce rules; suspend or end events if regulations are not followed.
• Promote safety and maintain order during events.
• Perform administrative tasks and complete reporting forms.
• Provide excellent customer service to renters and guests.
