Job summary

Excel Facility Services is seeking a reliable janitor for part-time day shifts in Raleigh, NC. You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition, performing the scope of work for multiple locations, and supporting the management team.

The role requires good communication, punctuality, and the ability to work independently while following safety rules. Training and timekeeping are part of daily duties; uniform and IDs must be worn.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently as needed.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building
• Restock supplies in areas assigned
• Notify supervisor of necessary repairs and equipment issues
• Ensure doors are locked at night (as applicable)
• Must use Time and Attendance system to report hours and payroll purposes
• Must complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager ASAP if any issues
• Must wear uniform and IDs while working
