Job summary

The Springfield YMCA in Springfield, PA is seeking motivated candidates for a part-time housekeeping/maintenance role. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 4:45am to 2:00pm, with some weekend work and potential to move into a full-time position.

Responsibilities include cleaning, safety checks, and event setup to maintain a welcoming facility for members and staff. Ideal candidates will be reliable, able to perform physical duties, and committed to a clean, safe environment in line with YMCA

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• Completion of required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Records and reports all needed repairs; performs repairs as directed.
• Ensures YMCA building and property is secure during shift and reports hazards to supervisor.
• Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• Sets up furniture/equipment for daily events.
