Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor responsible for all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to perform duties per client specifications and offers multiple shifts, including morning, mid, and evening, with weekly pay at $12.75 per hour.

Typical duties include floor care, restroom cleaning, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste; use of compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client scope.
