Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. Schedule is Full Time, Monday - Friday.

PAY RATE: $14.30 per hour, Weekly Pay. Responsibilities include floor and restroom cleaning, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and maintaining supply levels. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 6 months janitorial experience), on-the-job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Must have attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
