Job summary

Loomis US is seeking a part-time janitorial/maintenance associate in Anchorage. The role supports building cleanliness, waste removal, restroom service, and routine upkeep of facilities across shifts.

The position emphasizes reliability, safety with cleaning chemicals, and physical stamina for sustained light to moderate work. The team member will perform routine floors care, dusting, window cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with little supervision.
• Ability to push/pull wagons, carts, buggies loaded with cargo.
• Unrestricted ability to repetitiously bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with coworkers and read receipts/reports.
• Ability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers.
• Ability to perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Gather, empty, and discard trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass, and mirrors; use cleaners and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Notify managers concerning major repairs or additions to building systems.
