Position Overview: Under general supervision, performs custodial functions using proper methods and equipment, assists in maintaining the facility in a professional and safe manner, following all safety regulations and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure a professional, safe environment for the community.
• Operate cleaning equipment and perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and clean all facility surfaces including walls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Manage trash and recycling, maintain cleanliness of grounds and parking areas.
• Maintain safety and organization of storage areas; report supply needs.
• Recognize and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old with 1 year of customer service or public interaction experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic custodial tools and safety regulations.
• Customer service and public relations skills.
• Operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with staff, patrons, and vendors.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, potential exposure to chemicals, and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Position may require immediate response during emergencies and is safety-sensitive.
