Open Management is hiring a part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician at our manufactured housing community in Colona, Illinois. The role focuses on routine and preventative maintenance of community infrastructure, grounds, and shared systems to sustain property integrity and safety.

The position offers an hourly rate of $18.00–22.00, with benefits including accrued paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan. You will join a team committed to resident satisfaction and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance.
• Construction experience desired.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Understand, read, write and speak English to follow basic instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenants' maintenance requests.
• Complete property maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, interior/exterior maintenance, groundskeeping, and safety checks.
• Complete unit turns with cleaning and basic repairs.
• Transport, install and connect appliances as needed.
• Move materials and equipment to job sites and maintain work areas.
