Job summary

Open Management in Colona, Illinois, is hiring a part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician for our manufactured housing community. You’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance on infrastructure, grounds, and shared systems, ensure cleanliness, safety, and courteous service to residents.

Hourly rate is $18.00–$22.00 with accrued PTO and a 401(k) with company match. A high school diploma or GED is required and basic maintenance knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED required.
• Entry‑level knowledge of basic maintenance.
• Construction experience desired.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenants' maintenance requests.
• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and shared systems.
• Complete unit turns with cleaning, painting, and basic repairs.
• Transport and install appliances and connect utilities as needed.
• Keep job sites clean and safe; follow safety protocols.
• Support landscaping and seasonal tasks.
