Qualifications

• Must own and be able to use basic hand and power tools necessary for the position.
• Ability to perform light physical work, use ladders, and safely perform typical maintenance duties.
• Dependable, self-directed, and able to manage assigned work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to occasionally travel to other company locations (hourly wage and mileage reimbursement applies for occasional travel, or per diem).

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Complete repairs within your experience and capabilities.
• Identify issues requiring specialized service and coordinate with outside vendors when appropriate.
• Perform small painting and touch-up projects.
• Replace HVAC air filters and perform other routine preventive maintenance.
• Complete minor fixture, hardware, door, and facility repairs.
• Respond to maintenance needs at dealership locations.
• Help identify developing maintenance problems before they become larger repairs.
• Communicate repair needs, recommendations, and vendor requirements to management.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Occasionally travel between McDaniels Auto Group locations.
