Job summary

Villa Sport is seeking an entry-level Facilities Associate in San Jose to learn and gain experience while keeping pools and whirlpools in pristine condition each morning. You may be trained to support other club areas such as Member Services, Café, Spa, Housekeeping, and Sports.

Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-focused, with strong teamwork and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe and proper use of tools, machinery, cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Pool and mechanical repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read, understand and follow checklists, project instructions, and the directions on the equipment and chemicals used in performing duties.
• CPO certificate is a plus but not required.
• Minimum 16 years of age (certification requirements vary for café roles).
• Five-star customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new tasks or technology.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment where the customer is first.
• Committed and flexible.
• Outgoing, friendly and able to work with and serve all kinds of people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pools and whirlpools so they are in immaculate condition each morning.
• Assist with other repair and maintenance duties as requested.
• Support one or more club areas (Front desk, Café, Spa, Housekeeping, Sports) as trained.
