East Bay Post Acute in Castro Valley, CA is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to help keep a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform routine building upkeep, minor repairs, and respond to maintenance requests.

Ideal candidates have handyman experience, basic maintenance knowledge, the ability to lift and move supplies, and the reliability to work independently or with a team. Healthcare facility experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
• Lift, carry and move maintenance supplies as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist with routine building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair tasks.
• Help maintain the facility grounds and exterior areas.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and facility improvement projects.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Follow all facility safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
