Job summary

Price Marine in Millsboro, DE is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to help care for our grounds, buildings and equipment. You will perform groundskeeping, janitorial tasks, basic carpentry, and assist with moving furniture for meetings.

You will communicate with the Facilities Supervisor, coordinate resources, follow all safety guidelines, and report any maintenance concerns. This role supports a safe, clean, and well-run facility for staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining the grounds, buildings, and equipment associated with facilities maintenance.
• Maintain grounds in clean, safe, and orderly manner including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
• Clean debris from grounds, pathways, and parking lot.
• Perform routine janitorial housekeeping.
• Carry out basic carpentry tasks as instructed.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, set up and break down of materials for company meetings.
• Communicate with the Facilities Supervisor and coordinate completing work assignments.
• Coordinate necessary resources to assist with maintaining facilities.
• Report any maintenance concerns to the Facilities Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Observe all safety guidelines, keep work area clean and report safety concerns to management.
