Job summary

Anoka County is seeking a part-time Custodian to join Facilities Management and Construction. The role supports daily cleaning across county facilities, with hours Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., at the Government Center in Anoka, MN.

Starting pay ranges from $17.44 to $21.82 per hour, depending on experience. The position offers 24 days of paid time off, up to 12.5 holidays pro-rated for part-time staff, and opportunities for advancement and retirement plan

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Successfully pass driver’s license background check.
• Preferred: experience with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Customer service skills and ability to plan and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work alone or with a team to perform custodial duties and maintain daily routines.
• Perform cleaning tasks across various county locations and maintain safety standards.
• Notify supervisor of facility issues and assist in training team members.
• Attend meetings with supervisor and facilities staff and respond to on-call custodial issues.
