Job summary

Fayette Chamber of Commerce (GA) is hiring for a part-time custodial position in Fayetteville. The role runs Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and involves custodial maintenance duties such as cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas, maintaining storage spaces, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a high school level reading/writing ability and basic math, plus a valid Georgia driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public restrooms and replaces supplies.
• Cleans elevator doors.
• Empties and cleans ash trays and trash cans.
• Cleans doors and windows.
• Removes litter.
• Mops floors.
• Polishes mirrors.
• Cleans water fountains.
• Dusts furniture and wall hangings.
• Cleans base moldings.
• Cleans office and break areas.
• Cleans stairways.
• Cleans furniture.
• Cleans and disinfects telephones.
• Maintains storage area and janitors’ closets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
