Job summary

Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time custodian responsible for maintaining clean facilities and performing routine custodial duties. The position requires the ability to follow schedules and maintain safety standards.

Major duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, and common areas, dusting, sanitizing telephones, and restocking supplies. The role supports the daily operations of county offices and requires a basic high school level reading/writing and a valid GA driver's

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Georgia driver’s license for the type of vehicle operated.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public restrooms and replaces supplies.
• Cleans elevator doors.
• Empties and cleans ash trays and trash cans.
• Cleans doors and windows.
• Removes litter.
• Mops floors.
• Polishes mirrors.
• Cleans water fountains.
• Dusts furniture and wall hangings.
• Cleans base moldings.
• Cleans office and break areas.
• Cleans stairways.
• Cleans furniture.
• Cleans and disinfects telephones.
• Maintains storage area and janitors’ closets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
