Job summary

Fayette Chamber of Commerce GA is seeking a full-time custodial staff member to perform a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks in our facilities. The position requires reliability to maintain sanitation standards and assist with restroom and common area upkeep.

Hours are shift-based, with a Sunday through Saturday schedule and overtime possibilities. Starting salary is $35,671.38, and duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, windows, furniture, and common areas to preserve a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's licenses issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public restrooms and replaces supplies.
• Cleans elevator doors.
• Empties and cleans ash trays and trash cans.
• Cleans doors and windows.
• Removes litter.
• Mops floors.
• Polishes mirrors.
• Cleans water fountains.
• Dusts furniture and wall hangings.
• Cleans base moldings.
• Cleans office and break areas.
• Cleans stairways.
• Cleans furniture.
• Cleans and disinfects telephones.
• Maintains storage area and janitors’ closets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Tuesday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Wednesday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
• OR
• Wednesday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Thursday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Friday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Saturday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm

Major Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
