Job summary

West 10th Dental Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The role involves delivering high-quality dental care, assisting dentists and hygienists, and preparing treatment rooms with precision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment. Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, completes preliminary impressions, makes and polishes temporary crowns, removal temporary crowns, and fitting of permanent crowns and bridges, adjusting occlusions and interproximal areas, application of sealants, and adjusting partials and dentures.
