Job description

Part-Time (25-30 hours per week), includes evenings and weekends
POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation, stability, and development of CRC. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines program oversight, staff supervision, financial coordination, and direct involvement in service delivery.

This position requires both strategic thinking and real-time problem solving, particularly during active service hours in a high-conflict, emotionally charged environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Operations
  • Oversee all supervised visitation and exchange services to ensure safety, consistency, and compliance with court expectations
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Director to ensure full staffing coverage across all 7 days of operation
  • Maintain awareness of daily service activity and provide support or intervention as needed, particularly for higher-risk or complex situations
  • Ensure program policies, procedures, and documentation standards are consistently followed
  • Monitor service delivery to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Staff & Contractor Management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise monitors (paid and volunteer)
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support, and accountability to staff
  • Coordinate scheduling and staffing coverage in collaboration with the Assistant Director
  • Address performance concerns and reinforce expectations to maintain service quality and consistency
Administrative & Client Coordination
  • Oversee client scheduling systems, communication processes, and overall program flow
  • Manage or delegate incoming calls and emails in coordination with the Assistant Director
  • Serve as escalation point for complex or high-conflict client situations
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential record-keeping
  • Oversee organizational budget, financial tracking, and coordination with accounting support
  • Monitor client payments and support consistent billing practices
  • Maintain financial controls and support accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to maintain and strengthen the organization’s financial position and processes
Organizational Leadership & Board Relations
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on organizational planning, reporting, and governance
  • Provide regular updates on operations, staffing, and financial status
  • Lead development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures
Community & External Relations
  • Maintain relationships with courts, attorneys, referral sources, and community partners
  • Represent CRC in professional and community settings
  • Support outreach, partnerships, and program visibility efforts
Development & Sustainability
  • Support grant-related activities, including the identification of opportunities, proposal preparation, coordination, tracking, compliance, and reporting
  • Assist with fundraising efforts and organizational sustainability initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations
  • Ability to supervise staff and maintain accountability
  • Basic financial literacy, including comfort working with budgets, tracking expenses, and reviewing financial reports
  • Commitment to confidentiality, cultural competence, and trauma-informed care
  • Comfort working in evolving systems and the ability to strengthen structure and consistency over time
Preferred:
  • Experience in nonprofit management, social services, or program operations
  • Experience working with high-conflict families or court-involved populations
  • Experience coordinating with accountants/bookkeepers or managing organizational finances
  • Experience with grant coordination, reporting, or fundraising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Experience using cloud-based systems (e.g., Google Workspace) for email, file management, and collaboration
