Galen College of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time Testing Proctor to administer and proctor exams in the Testing Center. The role requires attention to testing procedures, security, and FERPA compliance, with the ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities include administering exams with 504 accommodations, scheduling tests, maintaining exam integrity, and delivering excellent customer service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing procedures and ability to monitor student dishonesty or unethical behavior.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks with attention to details in 504 testing requirements, processes, and procedures.
• Computer and iPad-based testing; sit for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Administers exams for students requiring 504 accommodations in the Testing Center.
• Administers other exams including Makeup exams, TEAS tests, and ATI assessments.
• Maintains security of exams and materials; inventories materials and ensures secure storage.
• Adheres to college procedures for distribution, collection, and return of testing materials.
• Monitors for student dishonesty or unethical behavior during exams.
• Provides excellent customer service and effective communication to students, faculty, and staff.
• Prepares and schedules student exams based on course schedules and individual needs.
• Maintains confidential records and adheres to FERPA in testing services.
