Job summary

Penn State Beaver is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time exam proctor for the Student Disability Resources office. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position, and prior experience with exam proctoring is preferred. Due to the nature of student exam schedules, hours will vary, generally between 8:00 a.m.

- 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday only. Proctors will assist the Disability Services Coordinator with providing academic accommodations to students with disabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Prior exam proctoring experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• administering quizzes and exams to college students
• picking up and dropping off paper exams/quizzes before and after the scheduled testing time
• reading exams to students and/or providing assistance as a scribe
• monitoring student behavior during exams
• maintaining academic integrity in the testing room
• communicating with students, faculty, and Student Disability Resources staff
• maintaining the confidentiality of the students receiving accommodations and engaging in respectful interactions with students
• assisting the Disability Services Coordinator with other duties related to providing academic accommodations, as needed
