Job summary

The Events Intern will support the marketing team at Nucleus Institute by planning and coordinating logistics for a wide variety of events taking place throughout the school year.

This role is ideal for a student with strong organizational and communication skills who is eager to gain hands-on experience coordinating events and building relationships with campus and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage logistics for multiple events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, tracking, and documentation using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent time management and problem solving in a fast-paced environment, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for events throughout the school year, including venue setup, scheduling, and day-of execution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for event logistics, including catering, AV, equipment, room reservations, and transportation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to confirm event details and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain event timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents to keep events on track.
  • Provide on-site event support, including setup, registration, and breakdown.
  • Track event budgets, supplies, and inventory as needed.
  • Collect post-event feedback and assist with evaluating success for future planning.
