Job summary

John Knox Village Limited in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a part-time AV technician to set up and tear down for Pavilion and Village activities, and to operate sound, lighting, and AV gear during events.

The role requires punctuality, ability to lift, and willingness to work late nights and weekends. Training provided; Missouri Class E license within 30 days; basic computer skills required; background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Missouri Class E driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with sound/lighting equipment preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate AV equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) required.
• Able to lift/move equipment; able to work nights/weekends.
• Must be punctual.

Responsibilities

• Set up for Pavilion and Village activities, meetings and events as scheduled.
• Move, lift and position tables, chairs, PA, microphones, and pianos for events; tear down after programs.
• Operate audio, visual and lighting equipment; perform minor repairs and bulb replacements.
• Maintain safe working conditions; keep equipment in good order.
• Deliver papers, post notices and transport equipment as needed.
• Perform custodial tasks and assist with other staff duties as assigned.
• Attend aerial lift training and adhere to safety regulations.
• Work well with staff and customers; handle stress professionally.
