Job summary

Not a Scam delivery is seeking an AV Technician (mid-level) for a full-time, onsite position in Kansas City. You will ensure AV systems are installed, run smoothly, and kept in reliable working condition for events and presentations.

You’ll set up and operate audio-visual gear, test performance, and provide onsite support during events. Evening/weekend availability and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an audio-visual technician (or similar).
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment and signal flow; comfort with soundboards/video switching.
• Solid troubleshooting skills, organization, and clear communication.
• Flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed; Associate’s degree preferred (certs a plus).

Responsibilities

• Set up, connect, and operate AV gear (sound systems, projectors, microphones, displays).
• Verify performance through checks, testing, and basic calibration before and during events.
• Provide onsite technical support and troubleshoot issues quickly when problems arise.
• Perform routine maintenance, coordinate repairs, and help track inventory/configurations.
• Work with event organizers and other technicians to confirm requirements and execution.
