Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for part-time event security roles in Dayton, OH. Join a dynamic team protecting attendees at sports venues, concerts, and conventions. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided, with weekly pay and flexible evening/weekend shifts.

Must be 18+, able to pass background check and drug test, and obtain a guard card. Excellent communication and situational awareness help ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card licensing may be required; training provided.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control venue entry, scan tickets, verify wristbands/badges.
• Screen guests with bags, metal detectors, or ID checks.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Understand policies and procedures for different venues and events.
• Provide directions and assistance to guests to enhance their experience.
