Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Buffalo, NY is seeking part-time event security staff to support crowds at sports venues, concerts, and conventions. Earn weekly pay with flexible scheduling around your availability.

No experience is required; you must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet licensing requirements as applicable. You will check bags, enforce access control, and deliver superior guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required; driving a company vehicle may require additional screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry and direct traffic; verify tickets, wristbands, badges.
• Screen guests at entry using bags search, hand wand or metal detector, ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted and respond to crowd-control issues.
• Understand venue policies and procedures for different events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guest entertainment experience.
