Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a part-time Cook for the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord, NH. The role involves hands-on food prep for events under the supervision of the Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Manager, following approved recipes and maintaining high production standards.

Responsibilities include preparing and portioning ingredients, operating large kitchen equipment, and upholding strict sanitation guidelines. Flexibility with hours and events is essential.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in food prep.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes and preparation lists.
• Experience with sanitation standards and safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and maintaining inventories.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes as directed and in accordance with Chef’s specifications.
• Cook and package batches of food for concession stand service.
• Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients.
• Clean food preparation areas, surfaces, and utensils.
• Maintain high sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Control food temperature and storage temperatures.
• Store ingredients properly to preserve freshness.
• Monitor inventories to ensure adequate supply.
• Stock and inventory workstation and record usage.
• Keep food spoilage within requirements.
• Deliver high quality products.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment (fryers, grills, stoves, ovens, etc.).
• Follow rules of SAVOR and ASM Global.
• Regular attendance and dependability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
