Job summary

The Berry Center is a Cypress, Texas event and entertainment facility owned by CFISD. Guest Services offers a welcoming experience for guests at sports, theater, church services, or concerts.

All guest services roles are part-time/seasonal and scheduled based on Berry Center needs. Preference goes to the most capable workers. Pay is $13/hour, with shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work all shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather.
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Greeting and providing information to patrons.
• Ability to search bags and purses, and to take or scan tickets.
• Be able to follow directions with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interact tactfully and professionally with the general public.
• Direct patrons to seats using event diagrams.
• Control access to the venue and report unsafe activity.
• Assist patrons with disabilities and call for medical assistance if needed.
• In emergencies, aid patrons in safe egress.
• Convey event information in a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Perform duties with required physical movement (walking/standing) and comply with dress code.
