Job summary

Duluth Entertainment Convention Center is seeking custodial staff to maintain cleanliness during conventions, sports events, and concerts. The role supports event setup and teardown and requires ability to move quickly between areas of the complex.

Part-time position with schedule based on DECC event needs. Training and uniforms are provided under the current labor agreement with IUOE Local 70. Apply to join a team supporting a busy events calendar.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements for this position.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• General cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the building maintains a high level of cleanliness for events.
• Operate floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, and other cleaning equipment.
• Monitor bathrooms and garbage during events.
• Respond quickly to requests for additional room sets and tasks.
• Assist with convention setup and other duties as assigned.
