Job summary

DECC is seeking part-time custodial staff to keep our venues clean and welcoming for conventions, sports, and concerts. You will assist with event setup/teardown and work across the building to maintain a high standard of cleanliness during events.

The role requires quick response to service requests, independent work, and teamwork. The position offers the opportunity to move around the facility, adapt to event-driven schedules, and participate in a unionized wage program.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements for this position.
• General cleaning experience preferred.
• High level of customer service expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness for events and daily operations.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers and related cleaning equipment.
• Assist with convention setup and other duties as assigned.
• Respond quickly to room-set requests and event needs.
