O+O Hospitality Group is seeking an Event Captain to oversee day-of execution for full-service events at our private venues. This role offers an hourly wage with flexible evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow within a expanding hospitality group.

You will lead staff, coordinate with sales and culinary teams, and ensure flawless guest experiences from setup to wrap-up. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hospitality or events team.
• Knowledge of venue-based catering and setup.
• Strong guest service and communication.
• Familiarity with food and beverage logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-of execution for catered events.
• Coordinate with sales and culinary teams on menus and room layouts.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, vendors, staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and supervise service staff.
• Manage event timing for speeches, meals and entertainment.
• Handle last-minute changes and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct post-event wrap-ups and debriefs.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper closure of events.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols.
