Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a Part Time Server to provide exceptional dining service to residents, including seating, menu guidance, and a friendly, dignified mealtime atmosphere.

This role includes safety and sanitation duties, maintaining clean dining areas, and following infection control protocols, with weekend/holiday rotation and overtime eligibility. Proficiency in English and a state background check are required.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow emergency protocols.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Successful completion of a state-mandated background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Dining Service - Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping residents select their meals.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation - Set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain the cleanliness and condition of all flatware and glassware. Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas. Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate Effectively - Proactively communicate with residents and team members.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.
