Job summary

Fulton Commons Care Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for the evening shift (3pm–11pm) to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. Part-time position with pay range $48.00–$55.00 per hour and Friday–Sunday shifts, 3p-11p.

The ideal candidate has a valid RN license, a minimum of 2 years in long-term care (1 year in a Unit Manager role preferred), and solid communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in NY.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care.
• 1 year in a Unit Manager role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery.
• Mentor and support less experienced nurses, offering clinical guidance and career development advice.
• Establish and uphold standards of care for the unit to ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Review resident records and monitor the quality of care provided to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.
• Conduct case reviews and ensure that individualized care plans are consistently followed.
• Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.
• Advocate for the unit’s interests to upper management and collaborate in addressing issues as needed.
