Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida’s Life Plan Community, Westminster St. Augustine, is hiring a part‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to work 3pm–11pm in our Health Center.

You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and staff nurses in accordance with state and federal standards. This role supports admissions, medication management, daily documentation, and collaboration with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of long-term care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions and discharges for the day shift.
• Review day case load with the Med nurse and assign responsibilities.
• Complete order entry and daily skilled documentation for Med A residents.
• Notify MD/NP with issues as appropriate.
• Review labs and x-rays and ensure issues are addressed.
• Attend morning meetings and care plan reviews with residents/families.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing staff as needed.
