Job summary
Westminster Winter Park in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse (7am-3pm) to provide direct nursing care in the Health Center and supervise nursing assistants. Schedule is 20-30 hours per week with weekday and weekend availability.
The RN will report to the Director of Nursing, coordinate care with families and physicians, and ensure timely documentation and adherence to orders. Florida RN license and CPR certification are required; LTC experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Must hold Florida RN license and CPR certification.
- One year of long-term care experience is desirable.
- Experience with medications and documentation is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in the Health Center.
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs.
- Admissions and discharges coordination on the day shift.
- Review labs, x-rays, and daily skilled documentation.
- Communicate with families, physicians, and other providers.
- Ensure care aligns with physician orders and current plans.
