Job summary

Westminster St. Augustine is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 3pm–11pm in our Health Center.

You will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and staff nurses in accordance with state and federal standards. The role requires Florida LPN licensure and CPR certification, with preferred experience in long-term care and residential care settings.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Must be CPR Certified.
• One year of long-term care is desirable.
• Med-surg, Home Health experience helpful.
• Experience with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs as the Charge Nurse and ensure adherence to physician orders.
• Implement resident care based on physician orders and document changes in ECS.
• Enter physician orders into ECS and monitor resident conditions.
• Ensure residents receive medications as ordered and conduct med passes.
• Maintain medication cart and perform audit procedures for PRN and controlled medicines.
