Job summary

Good Samaritan seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. This part-time, evening-shift role supports an interdisciplinary team and follows care plans to ensure resident safety and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have attended a pre‑licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for residents in long term care under supervision.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, and dietary.
• Maintains confidentiality and communicates clearly with residents, families and staff.
