Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The LPN applies nursing principles, performs required assessments, and supports the care team within the resident's care plan.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program with an active license. Evening shift 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, full-time, 40 hours weekly, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision and according to the care plan.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document results.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and care team, maintaining confidentiality.
