Job summary

Blue Harbor Resort is seeking a part-time Steward (Dishwasher) for the PM shift in Sheboygan, WI. You will support kitchen operations by washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and maintaining clean dish areas. Strong emphasis on teamwork and keeping a fast-paced kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, managing waste, and assisting with basic food prep as needed. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with a focus on reliability and safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Availability for nights and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and dish areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean and sanitary.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors, walls, and work surfaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Support kitchen operations by restocking clean dishes and supplies.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Work between restaurant and banquet kitchen areas as needed.
• Assist with additional cleaning and kitchen support tasks as assigned.
