Job summary

Caravan Facilities Management LLC is seeking a Part Time Janitor in Bay City, MI to keep building interiors clean and orderly. The role reports to the Janitorial Supervisor and is Non-Exempt under the Operations department.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with setup for events as needed; a strong work ethic and good attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
