Job summary

Independence Village in Jackson, TN is seeking a receptionist to provide courteous service to residents and visitors. You will handle calls, greet guests, and support leasing and maintenance teams in a friendly, professional environment.

The position is part-time with a 3:30pm–7:30pm weekday schedule and a $14 per hour pay rate. A high school diploma or equivalent and Microsoft Office skills are required; benefits include health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer all telephone calls and properly transfer calls to the appropriate department.
• Daily resident check in.
• Answering routine telephone inquiries.
• Greet all residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Refer all prospective residents and families to the Leasing Team.
• Sort and deliver all mail, internal messages and packages to residents and staff.
• Know emergency call system and emergency procedure (fire, medical, and police).
• Assist with accounting duties as assigned by Property Administrator.
